World Wrestling Entertainment results from the SmackDown tapings at the Rose Garden in Portland, OR, on February 17, to be broadcast on My Network TV on February 20: in a dark match, Jimmy Wang Yang over Eric Escobar; as with RAW this past Monday, the show began with Edge boasting about being the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and Jeff Hardy came out and insulted Vickie Guerrero, then laid Edge out before walking away, leaving Guerrero announcing a match between Hardy and Edge later in the show; Michelle McCool & Maryse over Eve Torres & Maria; footage is shown from the Bella Twins’ date with John Morrison & the Miz, where Carlito & Primo Colon, dressed as waiters, dump pies on the faces of the twins; R-Truth & MVP over Shelton Benjamin & Chavo Guerrero, Jr. – R-Truth was actually laid out before the match, leaving MVP to wrestle solo, and it ended with Geuerrero turning on Benjamin; Umaga over Scotty Goldman; Vickie announces that regardless of what Shawn Michaels and JBL worked out in terms of facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania, that neither of them will get that match – Vladimir Kozlov says he wants the winner of the Michaels-JBL match from next week’s RAW show; Jeff Hardy over Edge by disqualification, which came when Matt Hardy came in and attacked Jeff.
