Total Nonstop Action results from the tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, on February 23, for the first half of the March 5 iMPACT broadcast: Mike Tenay worked solo; Alex Shelley over Kiyoshi, with Suicide attacking Shelley; the Latin American Xchange issued a challenge to Beer Money for the TNA World Tag Team Title; Mick Foley, with Sting, started talking about “the Wrestler” saying without Sting’s help, Foley could have been another Randy the Ram, and said it was time to return the favor for Sting – Sting then said he had no issues with any MEM member except Kurt Angle – the MEM came out, and Kevin Nash said he was now fine with a Sting-Angle title match, noting that the title would remain in the family regardless of the outcome; Angle took off with Jay Lethal’s suit; LAX over Beer Money by disqualification, meaning no one leaves TNA and the title does not change hands; Team 3D then issued a challenge to Beer Money for a match at Destination X; and another Jarrett-MEM confrontation had Jarrett and Angle brawling, ending when Jarrett throwing Angle out of the building and shutting the door.
