Everyone who visits this website is a lover of the sport called Professional wrestling, but everyone also has to admit that there are times that they look at something in wrestling and go what the #@$#@. Here are some of the things that make me say this.
1. WWE Style names--These are wrestlers who have names similar to WWE names. The call themselves things like Vinny MacMahon, Richie Orton or "Stone Cold" Austin Stephens. In other words they can't think up of their own name, so they basically just use someone's else. I mean would anyone take an actor seriously if he called himself Tim Hanks or Charles Heston. Probably not, so how can a fan take a wrestler who does the same thing.
2. Myspace Mania--Now while I agree with Rich and Les that if you are going to do a website, have an actual website so you look professional but this isn't what I"m going to rant about here. For some reason when some folks do myspace they get retarded on two fronts.
Front #1: Some folks put tons of graphics and music files on their myspace page so it takes hours to load. There are some organizations myspace pages that load so slowly that you can drive to Altanta, do shopping, shoot over to Mississippi, gamble and go back home and the page still isn't loaded. And this is with a high speed internet connection.
Front #2: Only Friends can view page. The idea of a website for a wrestling organization is two fold. The first is to keep your regular fans up to date on any late breaking news and so forth. The second is let others who might have never gone to your organization or find you on the web by luck to see what you have to offer. So you set it onto friends only view, so that they can't see anything. Am I the only one who think that this is stupid. So to see your page, they have to sign up for myspace, send a friend request and wait for you to accept it.
Whining Wrestlers--Now what I mean by this is those in the wrestling business that get upset about fans who complain about a wrestling organization or a wrestler. I'm going to explain this, you are a public entertainment/sporting company, so of course you are going to have critics. Tom Brady doesn't get onto the net and complain about fans who complained about about the Patriots draft picks and say well you shouldn't complain because you know nothing about the business. Or you don't have the creators of South Park calling a fan who complained about an aspect of the show into their offices so that they can try to use threats and intimidation to silence that fan. No, they know that they won't be making everyone happy and everyone thinks that they can do the job better than the people who are doing it. Bush was second guessed by folks all the time, but he didn't get on the net and say oh these people need to shut up because they never did this job.
