I have a stack of old wrestling magazines over 8 feet tall !!! Programs from all over the United States from the early 70"s up !!! Tons of pictures and other memories from Columbus Georgia !!! Anyone ever hear of T.N.T Times that was put out by Terry Justice It was chock full of magazine clippings with cards and results from all over the country. Terry was also the President of the Eddie Gilbert fan club until the time they parted ways when Eddie came into Georgia . Hope to see material from Columbus Championship Wrestling real soon on GWH !!!! Happy New Year to all !!!!

Does anyone remember the feud between the Hines Brothers and Don Carson? Also does anyone remember a wrestler back in the 60's named Johnny Bruce who was a heel in the Columbus area?

Johnny Bruce was billed as "Strongman Johnny Bruce". If my memory is right, he was one of the wrestlers who came in to Columbus during the time the promoter, Mr. Ward, split away from the Atlanta booking office. There was a picture of him in the local paper, about the time of his first Columbus match, that showed pulling a truck, I believe it was, to show how strong he was.
I don't believe he lasted very long after Mr. Ward rejoind the Atlanta booking office. Bruce looked like he was a weightlifter, and he was not a very good wrestler, and I don't recall ever seeing anything about him being in other areas in the wrestling magazines of the time.
