Hey people, I was wondering if anyone here grew up in Chattanooga or has a great knowledge of memorable wrestling figures that were from Chattanooga or had great contributions to pro wrestling in this city.
I eventually want to do a memorial show that honors these legends but at the same time features some of our great current talent.
Right now I think it would be best to honor Terry Gordy, Pez Whatley, Eddie Graham, Paul Jones(the promoter), Nick Gulas, and Harry Thornton.
Who else? I know the Fargos were huge, Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton, Al and Don Greene, Corsica Joe, and a lot more
I enjoy seeing the cards posted in the nostalgia section that feature Chattanooga.

I'd have to think of who to add, but I would remove promoter Paul Jones from consideration. He never really had anything to do with Chattanooga. By the time GCW started running there, Jim Barnett and Ole Anderson were actually running GCW, and Jones was merely a figurehead.

I would love to see this come to fruition, and would almost definitely attend. There are several of the Chattanooga legends still around, who should definitely be a part of the show; Dennis Condrey, Jackie Fargo, Len Rossi, Don Green, Dennis Hall, Bob Armstrong, Ken Lucas, Dr. Ken Raney, Lorenzo Parente, Bobby Eaton, etc.
Best of luck to you in this noble endeavor!
