Take a step back in time courtesy of my grandfather's recently scanned scrapbook. He was known mainly as The Skull and Killer Murdock as well as Frank Remille and others....However, his real name was Earl Miller and he wrestled during the days of Honey Boy Hackney, Man Mountain Dean, Smith Brothers, Red Dugan, Papalino, Chang, The Gorilla, and many more....if you like this era, you will enjoy these links. This does not include all of the 8x10 autographed photos- mainly just the newspaper articles, registration cards, etc: docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9fR7JSXnvKWODYxNWFkMjktZmVkYS00NTkxLTgyZTEtNjA1MzhhNzc4MzI0&hl=en&authkey=CMCb6ZAHdocs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9fR7JSXnvKWN2RmYTgzZDUtNzIzNy00MTgzLWIyYmItMjVlMDQ2YWE5Zjhj&hl=en&authkey=CNfNjP4Odocs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9fR7JSXnvKWM2JkODQzNDgtNzllZi00YjRiLTg2Y2QtZWRmNGZjZTUzODc4&hl=en&authkey=CNu1pqAPdocs.google.com/leaf?id=0B9fR7JSXnvKWMGUxZmUwZGMtYmNiZC00OWFiLTkzYzMtYTg0MTdlNGIwMWM2&hl=en&authkey=CLqI1fcPdocs.google.com/leaf?id=0B9fR7JSXnvKWYjhjYWFkMDUtNWM1NS00NTQ3LWEyMTUtYzM2OGExOGRmNGVm&hl=en&authkey=CN7l-asFdocs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9fR7JSXnvKWNzcxMDc1NTctMWVkMS00YjNlLWFkNGQtNDhmMjA2MzM3MjZj&hl=en&authkey=CLbkgMwP

Great stuff. I love the way newspapers gave so much print space to wrestling back in the day.
Couple of questions about section 3. Who is in picture #14 and who is the guy with the Skull in picture #15?

Who is in picture #14 and who is the guy with the Skull in picture #15? Mike, I think my pages may display one off from yours. But sadly, I cannot help with either of those....I know he told me once the stories behind both of those photos but that was many years ago and sadly he passed in 1990. Perhaps someone here may recognize....On second thought, the guy posing solo...Ted Germaine comes to mind...not 100% though.

Just wanted to note that the 4th link, though it does not offer a preview and must be downloaded - it has some great stuff. A few of my grandfather's friends' promotional photos did make it into the scans.

I noticed on the third or fourth link that Natureboy Harris was listed in the main event at the orangebowl raceway. Bobby pointed out on the radio show not long ago that this was George "2 ton" Harris. This is really great stuff!
